- RELEASE NOTES FOR STEPH V1.00b
-
- SDM. 28-10-94.
-

-
-
-
- Colours appear bright under some circumstances.
- -----------------------------------------------
-
- I have noticed that colours occasionally appear brighter than they
- should, in particular brown appears as yellow in both text and graphics
- modes. Very puzzling, since the video memory attribute bytes say
- 'brown' and it still comes out yellow! I am inclined to blame Windows,
- although I am beginning to suspect that PWB is involved too. I have not
- been able to reproduce the problem running under DOS without Windows.
-
-
- Video cards and 8x14 font support for graphics modes.
- -----------------------------------------------------
-
- Some video cards (In particular my Orchid Kelvin 64) need a TSR loaded
- in order to support 8x14 character sets. If the cursor (or the whole
- display) appears scrambled in graphics video modes this may be the
- reason.
